Meet Dr. Lexx
In Therapy
I work with couples, individuals, and families. In the therapy space I try to create a supportive space where acknowledgement, support, and understanding are garnered. It is an honor to create and hold space where people who tend to feel unsafe in the world get to fall to pieces, uncover and share wounds and grow into healing.
For relationships, whether romantic, familial, or platonic, my role is to take the side of the relationship and support its growth.
I don’t believe that therapy is just polite conversation. I believe my role is to walk next to my clients as they search and seek healing. They relinquish harm and confusion, and instead build intimacy and care.
In Education & Workshops
As an educator, I believe in assessing the needs of the population I am to serve and to use dynamic and current educational methods to help learners develop beneficial skills and abilities.
Through experiential learning Dr. Lexx supports learners to challenge attitudes, integrate education, and apply new skills.
In Media
Radio, print, television, podcasts- I have loved and done it all. Therapy for Black Girls, CNN, BET, NYT, Scarymommy, NPR, HUFFPOST, and all have been exciting ways to share information with the world.
I love talking about all realms of sexuality and offering a unique perspective that sometimes get overlooked or seems taboo.
In this practice we believe

Pleasure is a birthright.
Trans women are women.
Disabled people are full fledged humans who deserve all rights and access.

No person is illegal.
People have the right to bodily autonomy and to make medical decisions for their body and situation.
Genocides happen and everything must be done to end them and assist those impacted.
Queerness is a vast array of beautiful that deserves recognition and support.
Liberation is interconnected.
